Stelly is a very nice and sincere person. When he asks "Kmusta?" you can really tell that he genuinely cares about how you are doing. He doesn't ask just for the sake of asking. If he finds out that you're not doing too well he is always ready to give comforting and encouraging words. He has a very cheerful and pleasing personality. A life-size huggable teddy bear. I'm so happy to have known this guy. Super bagay talaga sila ni Pepper, who happens to be my former roommate and sister that i adore so much. Pareho kasi silang super bait.

Stelson is my only brother and I love him.
I fondly call him 'toy', short of 'tintoy' which my lola asigned to be his official nickname which he cannot oppose due to his incapacity to do so at that time (lucky me...I guess). When we were little, we usually spent our time arguing and quarelling over little things. I did not want him to use my stuff even though I used his stuff... he got to have the 'bidas' in the toy collection and he used his annoying antics just to get whatever he wanted...but all those little things go away when I recall our times in Manila during summer. He used to be shy around my cousins in Manila and I was the social one. But when we were left alone, we enjoyed our moments together like studying for our summer lessons (since our age gap is only two years, we were usually classmates in summer special classes), eating smokey's burger dog, buying ninja turtle toys, romps in SM (Makati or Harrison Plaza) and QUAD, bribing the driver with smokey's for a tour around the city after summer classes and eating at McDonald's because at that time we had no McDo in the province. We are different before and even now, but we make things work.

Toy is now confident, smart and articulate and I am very proud of what he has achieved so far. I wish for him to be successful, to achieve happiness and contentment. We still argue ocassionally, but we rely more on each other now. He always asks me for my opinion even if I feel that he is smarter than me and it flatters me. I also seek his approval regarding my decisions and actions, and he is always there for me and that makes him special.

For his coming birthday, I wish that robee will finally make stickers of your name... :) Seriously I love you bro and this is the first time I am expressing it in writing.

In a building full of super serious medical students clad in white, horrendously nervous as they flip through hundreds of pages of review books as they cram in that “one last bit” of information before they take the monumental medical licensure exams, it would be hard to not notice a bouncing boy happily abound almost excited at the prospect of spending the better part of the day sitting in a cramped chair stooping over a terribly tough exam. Once you heard the thunderous laughter and as he pounds the ground with each “graceful” prance, you’d turn your head not to find stampeding bison but the joyful happy face of none other than Dr. Stelson Sia! But before you dismiss him as another Stimpy to your Ren, this brilliant mind is eclipsed only by his optimism, his determination, and his love for Pepper. Then again, there’s always his love for food, Apple products (he could almost be called iStel), and eyes. You can’t find anyone else easier to get along with than Stelson. Apparently forever in laughter, he’s always a bright side to life. It’s this side he chooses to see as well because it seems nothing can dent the armor of his disposition. Indeed one would be hard-pressed to find a better friend than Stelson, though the shiny black new Macbook sure looks nice… just kidding!

Stelson is someone I've known since first year college (we're doctors now), previously as a batchmate, later as a good friend. It was funny how people thought we were siblings or that we were meant for each other (!) because of what we look like (and yes, i guess we do look somewhat alike). I personally think of Stel as a close friend and as my little brother (not physically...), my "shoti". He's such a big mass of contradictions: slacker-achiever, cheapskate-spender, dieter-gourmet, partyboy-student, little boy-young man, dreamer-realist...all-around lovable person. ICC year was one happy year in med school and it wouldn't have been the same without stel. We have been groupmates for a long time but it was only that year that we really bonded. All those "takas" gimmicks with excuses and props to boot since we were both under "strict" guardians will never be forgotten! Stel is such a cheery person that being with him is a cure to depression and BRP moments. He is very smart and dependable and i will be forever thankful for all those moments that he had my back, and believe me. sobrang dami ko nang utang syo, dude! He is not just a groupmate and gimmickmate but a true friend whom you can count on in times of need. Hmmm.. Parang friend siya ng hubby ko... Di ko masyado kilala yun eh.. Siya ba yung pumasa ng med boards the 1st take at di pa masyado dibdiban ang review? Yung kakabagin ka kakatawa and halos malockjaw ka just jamming with him? Yung pumunta sa bora with his friends and gf and alam niya where kakain ng best food and best deals sa water sports? Yung mahilig but andali magsawa sa PC/computers and other gadgets? Yung interesting kausap kasi reactions at kwento niya mixed with awe, wit and humor? Yung palaging may joke? Ewan ko ba, parang familiar eh... Sandali... Siya ba yung sikat sa closest friends niya sa joke niya na "the hunter?" (chchuw-chchew!!) with matching actions? Teka, parang yun yung hindi nakaattend ng kasal ko kasi may duty daw pero nakalagay parin sa invitation ko?! (Na siyempre naiintindihan naman namin kasi labs namin ni errol ko yan eh!!)

Stelson is a Big Man. A Strong Man I would Imagine. A Big Man with a Big Heart. It's hard not to notice the guy. But then, he went through a South Beach Diet Program.....which made him into a not so Big Man.....Fortunately, his heart remained just as large. One of my regrets in PGH is not getting to hang more with Stelson and Pepper. I found them after my Internship and they were just as funny and interesting as the rest of the people there. But it wasn't too late to forge a friendship with them....considering how fun they were in the "46mins58secs" that i did get to hang out with them. Hopefully in the future i can mms them ECG results also.....
